Welcome back! Many things have happened since my last blog in 2009, and nothing is the same, except that my faith in an Awsome God and that my two children never seem to find boundries for making me proud of them.
On April 11, 2010, my husband asked for a divorce. According o Swedish law, he didn't even need to ask, he would have been granted it. After the required 6 months wait, we were divorced in November.
I couldn't afford the house on my meager pay as an automechanic, so I was forced to move out. I found a small one bedroom apartment that was furnished, and started over. But then I lost my job. (contract ran out). But there was a little clause that said that if I worked more than one year, they couldn't just ask me to leave. So, I returned to work. Unfortunatly, I was involved in an accident at work that destroyed both my elbows. Medical leave for 3 months, and then unemployed. I was glad to have tattooing to keep me occupied!
But life goes on, and God was good to me the whole time. He really carried me in his arms, and gave me some really great people to help me throught the tough times. In January 2013, I came in contact with a Christian dating web site in Sweden, and started exploring. I came in contact with many very nice people. One of my new friends had planned a trip to Umeå, and wondered if we could meet for lunch. That started a very special relationship. Ingemar (Ingo) and I have been dating ever since. He moved from Sundsvall till Umeå, got a new job and is a big part of my life now.
After a long journey, my injuries were classified as permanent, and I was able to get help to find a new job. I was blessed to stumble onto the job I have now. I work for an organisation called KRIS (CRIS in english- Crimenal's revenge in society) We assist people who have had a criminal life but want to live an honest life now. I am in charge of study circles, activities and checking in with the people in out half way house, and administration work for projects. I really love my job!! You never know from one day to the next what may happen.
So, now that I am back here on Blogger, (no promises) I hope to keep ayone interested up to date. Don't be afraid to ask any questions, I'll answer them if I can.
