Thanksgiving 2013

Thanksgiving is upon us again, and I have so much to be thankful for. It's been a rocky road getting to where I am now, but the Lord has been with me the whole time, helping me to learn to walk again. I still limp a little, but am glad to be back on my feet again. I am so thankful for family that I once thought was lost, but has been returned. I am thankful for two wonderful kids that are so awesome- I am bursting with happiness and (dare I say) pride with how kind hearted and caring they are. It's been a tough path for them too, and the past years have made them stronger and even more awesome. I have a wonderful man in my life that has such a kind and caring, giving heart. I am so looking forward to spending the rest of my life with him. (Getting married in May 2014) friends , MC gang members that are my family here in Sweden, friends that are always there when I need them, and a body and soul that is healing. God has truly blessed me with the water of His blessings after a couple years in the desert.
Planning for our wedding is in full swing- right now discussing who will do the ceremony. We are debating between two people, and have not decided yet. One is from the MC World, the other a former colleague from Pentecostal Church I used to work at. My own pastor can not perform the wedding. Here in Sweden, a lot of the pastors in the "free Church" have given up their right to perform weddings. It's complicated. But I am sure there will be a solution anyways.
This week will be filled with preparations for Thanksgiving. We do not have off on thanksgiving day, so we needed to puzzle our schedules together, and will be celebrating this Saturday. My kids will not let me out of this tradition, and are even helping with the food preparations and clean up. Many hands make lighter work, and I am thankful for their helpfulness.
